Pleached Poetry is a form of poetry where different poems are interweaved together to create one poem. This blog takes the broader meaning of the word pleached:  to interweave, to make or renew, to braid, by publishing poems that have different themes, styles, subjects and forms. The poems are interweaved to bring you not one poem but a blog of poetry.

All the poems written in this blog are from a poetry writing circle that meets monthly in Cape Town, South Africa.  This blog has been created as a platform for us to publish our poetry. We aim to post a poem per month per member – sometimes less and sometimes more!

There may also be random postings of quotes, ideas, themes etc. All related to poetry, of course!
